What is Monopoly Money Investor?

Monopoly Money Investor is an AI-built portfolio monitoring tool developed by Chris Frost over a few evenings. The tool compares simulated investment strategies side by side whilst it also tracks performance, holdings and risk across three portfolios, AI-managed, advisor-managed and self-managed.

It was created using a mix of Claude and Codex, with Perplexity and Gemini used to research market trends, analyse sentiment and support the AI portfolio rebalancing decisions.

During each weekly rebalance (every Friday evening), the AI reviews current holdings and performance, reduces or removes positions that no longer fit the strategy, selects replacement investments and records the buy and sell transactions using the latest market prices.
